TRUST COSTS.

In an attempt to clean up my office yesterday, I brought out the shredder. I wanted to tackle a stack of old receipts that had been just staring at me for months. However the shredder did not make this task easy as it had its own agenda when it was going to shred or not. I guess I should not have cursed at it.

I didn't bother to unfold a thick grocery receipt. I put it down the shredder slot and it was working fine. However as the receipt was going further into the shredder it unfolded revealing money. I couldn't act fast enough. I tried to stop it but it was too late, and all that was left in my hand were these 3 pieces of paper.

Thanks for the $3 lesson.
